Apple recently issued online software that lets iPhoto and Aperture handle raw photos from a range of new compact, higher-end cameras from several manufacturers. Camera makers are hurtling to compete in a new market with trailblazer Micro Four Thirds models in front with Olympus and Panasonic that feature not only small camera bodies, but also the interchangeable lens.
It could be said that this is a wonderful new world for the amateur photographer, with access to better colour and lower noise on the finished image, you can wring the ‘bad’ out of a picture. More convenience, thanks to Apple.
